Can I hold multiple citizenships?
Dominica allows dual citizenship without restriction. According to the Commonwealth of Dominica Citizenship Act (1978), you may keep all existing nationalities.

How long is the passport valid?
Since 2024, the validity of the passport for adults (from 18 years) is 10 years. After that, it can be easily renewed.

Do I have to travel personally?
No. For acquiring citizenship under the Citizenship by Investment Program, no personal travel to Dominica is required. The entire process – from application submission to due diligence to passport issuance – can be handled completely remotely via an authorized representative. The passport is securely delivered by courier to an address of your choice. Personal appearance is also not required for later renewals.

Is the citizenship inheritable?
Yes. The Constitution of the Commonwealth of Dominica as well as the Citizenship Act allow citizenship by descent – even for births abroad. The key requirement is that at least one parent is a Dominican citizen at the time of birth.
